Macau Arts Festival from 28th April onwards

The Macau Arts Festival organised by the Cultural Affairs Bureau will be held from the 28th April to 31st May 2017. It will present 25 programmes of dance, music and theatre.

Street performers in Macau to become legal

Starting on November 11, Macau government will allow street performers to showcase their talents on the street. Three areas have been designated: Green Taipa Houses, Mount Fortress, Anim’Arte Nam Van. 18 years is the minimum age to perform and the artists will need legal permission.26

No Templo de A-Má by Sunny Side Up

Sunny Side Up’s first originals album “Tributo a Macau” brings together songs describing memories of Macau, and the group’s thoughts on the city. “Pessoa” was their second album and a tribute to the Portuguese poet Fernando Pessoa. The third album “Rua 25 de Abril” followed shortly, bringing you back to Portugal’s April Revolution.

Local band Blademark goes acoustic

Formed in 2005, Blademark is one of the most renowned bands in Macau. Their music focuses on metal with a blend of funk and rap elements, heavy and melodic rock.
