Hospitality industry records 13 million guests in 2017, up 9.6% year-on-year

Mainlanders accounted for nearly two thirds (65.65%) of all hotel guests in 2017. Hongkongers, South Koreans and Taiwanese accounted for the sector’s second, third and fourth largest guest segments, at 1.6 million, 501,000 and 493,000 respectively.
