Chief Executive Ho Iat Seng will deliver his 2020 Policy Address in the hemicycle of the Legislative Assembly (AL) Monday afternoon, the Macau Government Information Bureau (GCS) said in a statement on Sunday.
The session will start at 3 p.m. It will be followed by a press conference at Government Headquarters from 5 p.m.
Informed sources have told the Macau Post Daily that the policy address will focus on the government’s raft of measures to support local residents and businesses during the COVID-19 crisis and its recovery plans for the local economy. On Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., Ho will attend a Q&A session in the legislature.
The government’s five policy secretaries and senior officials from their respective portfolios will separately present their 2020 policy guidelines to the legislature between 3 p.m. and 12 a.m. on the following dates:
Secretary for Administration and Justice André Cheong Weng Chon: Friday, April 24;
