The funeral of Macao gaming magnate Stanley Ho Hung Sun will be held in Hong Kong on July 10, a source close to the bereaved family confirmed to the Macau Post Daily on Saturday.
The source, who asked not to be named, said that a public memorial will be held at the Hong Kong Funeral Home in North Point on July 9.
According to the source, Macao’s “King of Gambling” will be buried at Chiu Yuen Cemetery on Hong Kong Island.
The Hong Kong-born patriarch of Macao’s gaming industry passed away at Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital on May 26, aged 98. He is survived by three of his four wives and 15 of his 17 children, according to an announcement by the bereaved family this week. A family announcement shortly after his passing late last month had only listed 16 of his 17 children.
