The Court of Final Appeal (TUI) announced that it has “not admitted” an appeal by ex-chief public prosecutor Ho Chio Meng against his 21-year prison graft sentence on Sunday.
Three of the nine defendants in a trial related to Ho Chio Meng were acquitted while the other six were sentenced to two to 14 years behind bars.
Former chief prosecutor Ho Chio Meng was sentenced to 21 years of imprisonment. After hearing the verdict, Ho screamed “injustice” and that “he didn’t owe anything” before being removed from the court.
